It’s always a good time to visit Franschhoek! A fantastic destination year-round, each season offers its own unique experience:
-The spring and summer seasons bring longer, warmer days perfect for sunbathing with a chilled glass of wine in hand or dining al fresco.
-If you’re more captivated by cooler weather, autumn is a lovely time of year as the days are not as hot and the village avenues turn to vibrant crimson and orange as the old oaks lose their leaves.
 -If drinking red wine next to a log fire is your cup of tea (yes, it’s ours too), winter is your best bet. The surrounding mountains often receive snowfall in winter, turning Franschhoek into a winter wonderland.

- Breakfast is included with your stay, featuring a delightful breakfast menu to start your day on a high note.
- If you feel like dining out, Franschhoek is filled with amazing top-rated restaurants and cafes, most of which are only a short stroll from our front doors. Franschhoek is considered to be the Culinary and Wine Capital of South Africa after all, so chat to our reception staff about what you feel like eating and they’ll point you in the right direction.
- For a cosy night in, we can arrange room service from our neighbouring restaurant, Allora.

Apart from our in-room luxuries; we offer secure, underground parking, a spacious lounge area with a wood-burning fireplace, a beautiful bar, a private courtyard and a dining area.

Guests are asked to kindly check-in after 2pm and check out before 10am latest. In case you require a later check-out, we will try our utmost best to accommodate you if there are any vacant rooms available, at a nominal day-use charge. Otherwise, you can check out and leave your luggage at reception who will safely store it for you to collect at a later time.

We only accommodate children 12 years and older. One child can share a room with one adult, a maximum of two people can be accommodated in one room. Our official child policy is:
- Children under the age of 12 are prohibited
- Our Rooms can only accommodate 2 adults only or 1 adult & 1 child
- Children staying in a room by themselves will be charged adult rates
- Child rates are applicable to ages 12 - 13 years.
- 14+ are charged adult rates.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 am until 10:00 am. However, should you have an early start to your day, please inform reception the day before and we will gladly cater for an earlier breakfast. Our night host is available until 7:00 am, and we can arrange an early breakfast if notified in advance. You have the option of choosing a breakfast parcel to take with you on your trip. If you would rather prefer to have breakfast in the main restaurant, we will arrange it for you.

Franschhoek Boutique Hotel is conveniently located behind the charming cafe and gallery filled courtyard of Franschhoek Square, where the Wine Tram Kiosk is situated and where the Franschhoek Wine Tram departs from. This makes it about a 10-second walk from our front door! We highly recommend this fun activity while visiting Franschhoek. For more details on the various lines available and to book in advance (strongly recommended especially in high and peak season), please visit the Wine Tram website .

It is recommended for guests to book directly with the Wine Tram either on their website or at the kiosk, as they require credit card details and personal information.

Franschhoek Boutique Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Franschhoek. We think it’s the best spot in town! We are situated behind Allora Restaurant, in the charming Franschhoek Square. Our back entrance if you are self driving and require parking is on Daniel Hugo Street. As you drive along the street, you will notice a large black gate — please press the intercom bell, and we will open it for you.

Franschhoek, the well-deserved gourmet capital of South Africa, offers a variety of dining options and activities. Depending on the dining experience you're in the mood for, some of our personal favourites are
1. French Connection: A great spot for a balanced dining experience, not too formal but refined.
2. Allora Restaurant: Located next to our hotel, offering a casual atmosphere with a diverse menu featuring pizzas and pasta.
3. Epice and Le Petit Colombe: High-end dining options affiliated with La Colombe, renowned for its Michelin-star quality meals. (Reservations are essential and should be made well in advance.)

Unfortunately, we do not have a swimming pool.
